My skin started reacting to everything — including "clean beauty" products while I started my journey of motherhood
I'm Ruchita, founder of Aroota. While trying to get pregnant in my mid-30s, I went looking for a holistic approach to support motherhood and beyond. I couldn't find one — not in the American market. What worked for my skin in my 20s had quietly stopped working, and nothing around me accounted for that.
All I wanted was simple: a cleanser and a serum I could trust, not a 12-step routine or a label full of ingredients I couldn't pronounce. So I went back to my Ayurvedic roots — to the formulas my grandmother knew, built on a handful of intentional ingredients instead of a long list. I was shocked to not find any skincare which supports women in transition myself where a lot is going to change physically.
That's what I built Aroota. Under 10 ingredients. Free from endocrine disruptors. A simple serums for AM/PM and soap cleansers.
